When a position becomes available, recruiters and employers overwhelmingly prefer to search the LatPro candidate database before (or even instead of) posting a job ad.

As a recruiter, one of the first things I want to see is that you're an active LatPro member. If I find two candidates with similar qualifications, I'll be much more likely to contact the LatPro jobseeker who has updated his or her resume in the last month.

Why?

Because my time is limited. If you aren't logging in to LatPro regularly and your resume is outdated, I'm going to assume that you're probably not looking for a job anymore. And if you are looking for a job but haven't taken the time to log in or update your resume in many months, what does this say about your motivation and enthusiasm, compared to an active job seeker?

So, if you haven't logged in to LatPro and updated your resume within the last month, you could be missing out on many job opportunities.
